There's an almost hidden Parisian street called Rue Mouffetard in the non-touristy 5th arrondissement. It's here that one can find an outdoor market, quaint shops and charming restaurants - all of which have a wonderful local breeziness to them.
You will discover regional French, Italian and Turkish restaurants here, some with a variety of 3-course set menus. One former decade-long Rue Mouffetard restauranteur, Rainer Plinge, agreed to share his scrumptious cheese fondue recipes. His restaurant was often packed full with hungry patrons turned away!

The City of Paris, in partnership with advertising company JCDecaux, has launched one of the most advanced public bicycle program in recent times.
There are over 1,400 stations throughout the city where bicycles are available. It's claimed that one is never further than 200-300 meters from one of these stations. What's more, there are now even dedicated cycling lanes on some streets.
